I kept at it. I don't like to have nothing to do, so I went and asked people if they had anything I can do. I would learn different things. It's been a good career. We plan to get more involved with our church and our church work. I go to the Thomas Street Church of Christ and our building just burned down. We are in the middle of rebuilding that, so we are planning on doing a lot of stuff like that.

The problem occurred with the automated clearing house posting early Friday morning. This delayed posting of some direct deposits to customer accounts at Bank of America and other financial institutions, primarily in the Northeast.

The problem has been resolved and a significant number of customer accounts have been updated and funds are now available.

Brenda and I have been friends forever. Our husbands were on the police force just within a few months of each other. Our two oldest sons are only six weeks apart and they grew up together. We've been friends for years. Kind of nice working with her.

Our new city administrator has been great, because I had no experience as a finance director. I am an accounting person, which is a bean counter and finance is a little different than being an accountant. Accountants are more exact and finance people have more vision. He's got the vision. He's been a good compliment to me and has helped me a lot and I really appreciate that. He's a little more involved... For the most part everybody has been great and I have enjoyed every minute of it.
