On behalf of all the members of the Adams for County Judge 2006 campaign, I want to assure you that we intend to run a responsible campaign on the issues. Benton County is changing daily, and we are excited about the prospect of being a part of that change in this election year. I hope you are as well.

Benton County already has one of the highest sales-tax rates in the country, and it makes absolutely no sense to add to that burden when there are viable alternatives, especially since the sales tax hits the middle class and working people the hardest.

No Tax members believe the most viable and responsible method for increasing income to the county is by increasing the tax base and not the tax rate.

You don't get opportunities very often and when you get one and get it taken back, it's a little aggravating. But it worked out.

Siloam Springs believes that they should stay dry. And I think that is just fine. They can make that choice for their community.
