hoped people wednesday
We hoped that people who would come on a Wednesday would also give us a try on Sunday. It's been very successful.
coach game hard national several won
Our coach has been here for several years (nine), but he's never won a game at the national championship, so we want to play as hard as we can to get him one.
advantage beat defense front good mistakes people played win
I thought our defense played exceptionally well. They had beat up on a lot of people. They were big up front and had some good people in the backfield. I thought we did a good job. We were able to take advantage of some mistakes and win the ballgame.

anybody anytime change good injured jay lose main offense people problem thin
Jay has done a really good job. Of course, we've whittled our playbook down. Anytime you make a change at quarterback, you have to change what your offense can do. Our main problem has been getting people to sub in and out. We're so thin that when anybody is injured we lose people on offense and defense.
close finish games matter scoring super win
I will tell you this, if we win the Super Bowl, it doesn't matter if we finish 31st in the league. The games never have to be close in my mind, so long as we keep scoring 40 a game.
biggest four mental mistakes penalties regular rid
We have to get rid of mental mistakes. We've had four touchdowns called back by penalties and that can't happen. The biggest thing is we need to get into some kind of regular routine. The way things have been going has been anything but routine.
action changed drew drop flood jay rolling run setting straight
We changed a little bit. When we go to our play-action (passes), Jay is rolling out and Drew is setting up. Drew is more of a straight drop back passer, which allows to run some flood routes.
church join music people program reason term
Yes, we've had people join because of the music programming, but long term I don't know if a music program would keep people in a church if that's the only reason they were there.
good longer played starters zone
We played a really good first half. But then we fumbled in the end zone and we had to play our starters a little longer than we wanted.
good knew played running schedule tough win
That was a big win for us. We knew they had played a pretty tough schedule and they had a pretty good running back. But we were able to do some things and I thought we played pretty well.
felt gave goal next score team tied
That was a big one for us because it gave us momentum. When the score was tied at halftime, I felt and the team felt that the next goal was going to be big.
blake body cars field friend hard high injuries kids lose school spirit stuff talked worked
I've had injuries but not the devastation we've had this year. You think about high school kids and they don't have all the stuff that adults have. All they really have is their cars and their friends. To lose a friend is a big part of their world. But kids are pretty resilient. We talked about how Blake worked hard to get where he was. His body won't be on the field but his spirit will be there with us.
accomplish care goals knuckle time work
It's time to knuckle down and take care of business. If we work hard, our goals are still there. I feel like we can accomplish them.
