I'd like to think it will move into a dynasty. Hopefully, it all turns out. This is going to be so fun. I'm not going to say we're going to win every game. But these kids can rake the ball. And it's the deepest pitching staff I've had. I don't know if we're there yet, but we're close.

Four years ago, things were so bleak in parts of the area, but we've had exciting news in Russell County that is invigorating. This is a real turnaround point for us.

He's at his best with two strikes. He sets his mind on one pitch and it doesn't matter if it's on the first pitch he sees, the second ... He was taught right. He's kind of a natural. He knows how to control the bat.
bases carry distance freshman guys high home jump key league load maturity mound pony school
I think the key for us is maturity. It was a big jump for our freshman going from Pony League to high school baseball. You have a shorter distance between the bases and from the mound to home in Pony. But our young guys did carry a the load for us, or they wouldn't have been there.
