We make a point of seeing 'Hoosiers' at a certain point of every season. A lot of times -- unless you're talking about their boyfriend, a clothing designer or a country music singer -- what you say or do goes right over the heads. But for some reason, they get into that movie.

Meredith is not getting a lot of numbers so far this season, but she's learning that basketball is more than numbers. She's gaining a lot of valuable experience and things are going to start to click for her.

The experience she's getting now is going to be valuable for this season and in the next couple of years. Right now, she's getting by on her athletic ability. She's still raw and there are a lot of things she needs to work on, but once she gets better she's going to help build our program.

We built a lot of character. Getting beat on a regular basis by 15 to 20 points, you have a tendency to get a little thicker skin. You hope the kids who are coming back don't forget what they've been through and use it to build on for their next endeavor.

It's pretty hard to make me laugh, and sometimes they wouldn't pitch me a joke, they would do the joke. And if it wasn't funny, I wouldn't put it in. But more often than not, when they really thought it was enough to ruin a take, it was a good joke. And Eric is a great writer, so he was always giving other people jokes, too. You want that. There was a great camaraderie on the set.

The biggest thing she has improved in is her shot selection. Before she would catch it and, boom, she'd shoot it ... no matter where she was on the floor. In the past four games she's gotten better with that. She's taking better shots, putting them in and, as a result, getting more confidence.

They'd have to go to college. They'd have to get lost on the way to college, I think.

If you guys do this right, you can raise money back due to tournaments. If it's built right, it's going to end up paying for itself.
