baseball finish finishes home regardless schedule sets trip
We'll know where we are by the end of this trip and then we'll still have to go home and finish strong. A lot can happen, but the way the schedule sets up, regardless of how this trip finishes up, we still have a lot of baseball to play.
assets backup certain early finish gives grind nice played swinging
He's a guy, overall, that gives us more assets in that spot. Miguel played well for us early in the year, and he can always go out there and grind and claw and do certain things. But he did come here to be backup guy. If Kaz can finish up strong, the way he's swinging right now, it would be nice for us.
everybody finish flashes hit needs notice obviously particular shown thrown
I think everybody needs to finish up strong, ... He's obviously been a little inconsistent lately. Not put any particular notice on him. He needs to hit his spots. He's thrown well at times. He's shown flashes here and there.
above below finish good nice nicer season strong
It's nice to finish strong and end the season on a good note. It's nicer to be above .500 than below it. But .500 is mediocre. We want to be better than that.
finish games win
It's important to finish up strong, win as many games as we can,
against bats expect finish funk rest seemed strong swing watching
It seemed like all we were watching was Cy Young work. Obviously, we didn't swing the bats too well against him, so you can't expect to win like that. We've got to see if we can get something going, get out of this little funk we're in and finish up strong the rest of the trip.
boys constantly fair finish good guys knock nice players preach talk until
It's nice to talk about where guys are going to finish and what guys are going to do, but to me until you knock off the big boys I think it's fair to say they are the favorites. I feel good about our chances, obviously, and preach to our players constantly about winning. But you've still got to do it first.
division few finish last might
If you're in a division like we're in and you finish in last place, that's because the division is tough, ... What are you going to do? If you were in a different division with the same record, you might be a few notches up the ladder. But when you don't win, it doesn't matter.
