Our members have the right to hear about this offer from our officers ... and then to make up their own mind.
Our members have been working seven days a week without a day off and have worked for three years without a wage increase. We want to apologize to our riders, but the workers are extremely tired. This is the last straw.
The governor is playing politics with the lives of riders and workers. By leaving workers no alternative to strike, he opened the door to more privatization.
We know he isn't a transit-friendly, labor friendly governor. I hope he hears the public and passengers out there. We will continue to ask him.
They got the money, have them push it this way. Put it to the workers and keep the money in Colorado. Why send it out of state?
