We were playing to show people how New Orleans feels -- the resolve to push on and come back. And, at least for today, this team exemplified that.
Our situation is uncomfortable. But for the people in New Orleans it's catastrophic.
You can't just be thinking about yourself now. Watching what's going on back in New Orleans just makes you thankful you're not in that situation.
It's a home game only in the sense that we don't have to bus or fly anywhere. However this season turns out, I'm quite sure that if somebody writes a book about Katrina, they would have to devote a chapter to the New Orleans Saints who had an entire season in disarray.
