As a kid, I loved any fantasy.

My mum always used to say to me that, out of her three boys, 'Chris, you were the girl!' I'd speak to her about far more things (than my brothers would) and far more things than she needed to hear about, too. I was a chatty kid.

Child abuse is one of those issues that's very difficult to talk about because it's surrounded by guilt and shame and so on, but us avoiding that issue doesn't help those kids in need out there who need support.

You can imagine how the kids teased me, with a name like Chris Hemsworth. 'Kiss Ham'sWart'-that's what they called me. Meaning if there was a piece of ham with an ugly wart on it, I was such a loser I'd probably kiss it. It was endless.
