Nothing could be further from the truth. Yes, Michael has been to see his specialist for an X-ray and a scan and as a result, he missed a couple of days' training.
To suggest Michael Owen has had a setback is ridiculous. We accurately assess what stage players are at during their rehabilitation and Michael Owen is where we thought he would be at this stage of his recovery.
We don't set dates because if you don't reach that date and he's not out training when he says he's going to be or playing, there's hysteria all around the country because of that. All I know is, having seen Michael this week, he's very happy with the way things are progressing.
