The kids, regardless of where they're from, listen to the coaches. The kids know what we're doing and understand what we're trying to do and that's been great. Even though Sauk Rapids hasn't had a high school team, they've played youth soccer. So, they're not unfamiliar with the game.
It's been surprisingly painless. I thought things might be a little rougher than they have been. The parents from Apollo have been fairly supportive. But the Sauk Rapids people have been really happy as far as having a program for their kids to play in.
We had always been able to put together three full teams of nothing but Sauk Rapids kids in youth soccer, so I knew the interest was there.
