I had hoped to build a buffer going into the last round but that was not to be, ... There is still a lot of hard work ahead, but I'm still happy to be right in front.
The only thing I can do as good as last year is win again this year. ... It's still a nice problem to have.
The wind made the last couple of holes pretty tough. If there is no wind when I play tomorrow morning hopefully I can post a bit of a score.
It's actually not a tough way to lose. I was expecting Davis to get up-and-down on the last and I'd have to hole mine out to go to 19. I was prepared for that, but maybe not prepared for him holing out.
It's like starting off a new season. I'm playing until the end of the year. I've had a couple of (good) weeks this year, but my consistency hasn't been there, so I want to get out there and sort of finish off the last three months of the year, and finish strong.
It was a double break, that was the problem. It was right to left and I started it out there and at the last second it broke back.
I made a couple of mistakes on the last couple of holes but overall I was pretty happy with the way I played. If anything, maybe I was a little bit over-confident,
I missed a couple of birdie chances on the last few holes which would have made it a good round. But it's not the end of the world.
I didn't swing it very well for the first 14 holes, but over the last four holes I got back into it and made some really nice swings, so I am happy about that.
I am very happy with today's round and it was nice to birdie the last two holes, as it was a very tough day,
