The governor has not set a timetable on when he will make a decision. He's going to take the time to pick the best person for the job.
He's against possible revenue losses at a time when the state is recovering from Hurricane Katrina. It may not be prudent.
The governor believes this bill cuts revenue to the state at a time when it would be irresponsible to do so. Even so, he is having the numbers recalculated as a part of his consideration of whether to veto or sign the bill.
