Mr. Versatility. He probably has the best hands as far as catching the football on this team and then just being a veteran guy that guys can look up to and see produce week in and week out.
We definitely can't hold our heads down after one loss. We've got a good football team, we can't let anybody talk us out of that. We've got to continue to believe.
Well, no, not really, to be honest with you. Tom always seems to make the big play. We definitely don't want the ball in his hands at the end of the game.
I think maybe some of the younger guys learned that once all the hype goes away, it becomes a football game. It took about a quarter. For a quarter, things were pretty tight all around and then it becomes a game.
I got the chance to watch the whole thing, to take another view. All week we heard we have nothing to play for. We showed today we play football for each other. We take pride in our work.
I think that was the difference in the football game. We couldn't get off the field. We couldn't convert. We just didn't make the plays that we needed to at the times in which we needed to.
Washington and Miami, it's what they do; that's their thing, especially Washington. If we keep getting that, we'll definitely improve against it. If a team wants to max protect and run two-receiver routes, we'll definitely find a way to get off the football field.
