It's stacked. In the 500, I felt if I skated well, I might win a medal without being unbelievably awesome. In this race, just to win a medal you've got to skate awesome. There's so many great guys.

It was my first (Olympics). I was real excited about that. I skated real well the year before, but then the clap skates came out, so, I was anything but relaxed, because I knew I was a long shot, at best.
