Our approach is neighbor taking care of neighbor. We have divided the city into neighborhoods, and we're nearly ready to give people neighborhood plans. People uphill should prepare to receive others coming up there. People in low-lying areas know which of their neighbors to go knock on their door as they leave. We'll have initial safe havens identified for each neighborhood.

I love Washington. And with more and more people living here, I'm convinced that now is the time to act to make sure our children, and their children, will enjoy the same great quality of life we have today.

Our managers each have over 20 years of experience, and we have many people who've been with the company going back to the 1960s, ... I've come to learn this business fairly quickly, but it's great to have experience like that around.
