I was really proud of the way our team came out and competed. We kept it close in the first half and set the tempo of the game defensively. Sophia Young is an extremely talented player, and we let her take off a little bit during the last five minutes of the first half.

The biggest thing has been balanced scoring. We've had a number of kids who didn't look to score as much last year and have gotten them more involved.

I just want to start by saying that I've never been so proud of a group of young women as I was in the last four months. They have been through so much and really just kept fighting back.
