It was fun to watch such a talented team as Essex. Our team put in a great effort. We just need to gain experience. Calkins has looked super this year. She should push for the all-around title.
beam break deserved gymnastics looking overall solid south stayed tough
We're looking solid in everything else, but in gymnastics the beam is the make or break event. South Burlington stayed on beam more than us and deserved the overall win. But we showed that when we stay on the beam we will be tough to beat.
difficult hard hit match routines strong trying
They have difficult routines and are trying hard stuff, but once they hit their routines they will be hard to match up to. It could end up being one of our strong points.
