baseball buzz fewer gravitate moved people
Now we have the same off-season buzz they get in baseball. In the old days, a lot fewer people moved and they tended to gravitate to the same teams.
agent bit certainly clear knee last looking number struggled style year
I'm told his knee is fine. He struggled a bit in his last year at Colorado. With the style we're going to play and the rules, he can play a number of years after this year. It's up to Teemu. I made it clear to his agent we're certainly not looking at this as a one-year thing.
surprised
I'm not surprised in anything that has happened.
based captains card charter couple game guy issue loses money split sure talking team
I'm comfortable, based on my observations and just from talking to a couple of players, that there's no issue for us. Personally, it's a big issue with me. Every charter flight, I go back, see if there's a card game going on, make sure it's not getting silly, talk to the captains about it. It can really split your team if a guy loses a lot of money on a card game.
brave difficult entire family forward jordan man move rebound situation smith thoughts
This is a very difficult situation for a young, brave man to go through. Our thoughts are with the entire Smith family, and Jordan will always be a part of ours. He will rebound from this, and we will be there for him and his family as they move forward from here.
adding counting hockey ice interested power signed time top
I'm not interested in adding names, I'm interested in adding hockey players. I signed Teemu because I think he makes us a better hockey team. We're anticipating he'll play on our top six. Certainly, I'm counting on him for top-six ice time and the power play.
cup interview people smaller soul stanley win
Not a soul, ... But if you'd have said to me in Vancouver, 'You can win a Stanley Cup but you can never do an interview and you can't be in the parade,' I'd say, 'Where do I sign?' My ego's a lot smaller than people think.
ability both community expect fit ice impact nicely player skating style
We expect Teemu Selanne to be an impact player for us, both on the ice and in the community. His skating and goal-scoring ability should fit nicely with our new style of play.
believe games gave great hockey people reasons remember stopped ticket
We've got 9,300 (season ticket holders) here and we were at 6,000 when I was hired, ... I believe this is a great hockey market. I remember when you couldn't get a ticket for games here. Then we gave people reasons not to come, and they stopped coming.

believe contains contract great interest matter owners people signed understand work
First off, I want people to understand I work for great owners here and have no interest in leaving. Second, no matter where I've worked, I've never signed a contract that contains an out. I don't believe in that.
changes needed second
