name
We just didn't make baskets. We were just a little juiced. They wanted to play so well, it just tensed us up a little bit. They made everything, and we didn't. That's just the name of the game.
good name
We just didn't make baskets. We had good looks, but we were a little juiced, a little jittery. They made everything, we didn't. That's the name of the game.
job team
We got the job done so we can play the team we want to play.
excellent great point proud turning worked
Excellent season. Very proud of these kids. They worked their butts off. Great turning point for our program.
You have to make him go to the right. We didn't. You make him go to the right, he's going to give up the ball.
care defense five guys people stop
We didn't play any defense. That was our downfall. We've got to find some people that want to stop somebody. I told them I don't care which five guys it is. I just need five guys that can stop somebody.
boys kindness proud team trademark year
Kind of the trademark of this team all year is we don't give up. I'm proud of the way our boys competed tonight.
mistakes
We made some mistakes, but it doesn't matter. We made up for them at the right time.
academy played ryan score wheel
The way that Wheaton Academy plays, it played right into Ryan Wagner's game. He's long and lengthy, and he can score around the basket. Our wheel was working, and we were getting a lot of baskets inside.
finishes grind special team
It's the team that finishes the grind that has the special memories.
christmas eight good guys nice proud rely since throw
That's the good thing since Christmas, we haven't had to rely on one player. For 2 1/2 seasons, we had to rely on one player. If they were hot, we were hot. If they were not, we were not. It's been really nice to have five, six, seven, eight guys to throw at them. I'm very proud of them.
finally hitting home playing proud shoot
It's our house, we shoot here every day. Finally this season, we're playing much better at home and hitting some big shots, so I'm very proud of the kids.
half job second somebody team tough
We executed very well on offense, and in the second half we were tough to stop. Our team doesn't have a lot of experience, but we have a lot of depth. If somebody is off, we put somebody else in to get the job done.
