Joseph Patrick Mullenis an American former professional ice hockey player. He played 16 seasons in the National Hockey Leaguewith the St. Louis Blues, Calgary Flames, Pittsburgh Penguins and Boston Bruins between 1980 and 1997. He was a member of three Stanley Cup championship teams, winning with the Flames in 1989 and the Penguins in 1991 and 1992. I don't know any different, so I can't say if it's any easier or any harder. ... I was very nervous when I came down. I had never been a head coach. They had lost only one game (in regulation), and they took half the team on me, especially the scoring. I'm thinking to myself 'How am I going to match this (start)?' I'm enjoying it. Winning is helping.

To get guys like him, who their first year can step in. He plays like a veteran most of the time. He's a guy you can count on. He's physical. He has a big frame on him that he likes to use and puts to good use. He moves the puck well. We can play him on the power play and the penalty kill. For a first year guy that's huge.
