When it comes down to a meet like this and you put two equally talented kids out there, it comes down to which one wants it more. Obviously, our little guys wanted to move on.

We beat MFL statistically everywhere, but on the scoreboard. I think it will be a great growing point as we move forward.

It has been a great team effort to come back and win without some of our great wrestlers. Some have stepped up and filled the void, and it has come from different places.

I think these guys will get it done. There would have still been meaning if we won (the conference tournament), but not as deep as it is now. I don't think I'll have any problem motivating these guys.

Peaking is all about your mental state and how fresh mentally you are. I think last week we wrestled more energized because mentally we were better.

We can get 10 (through to districts), but that doesn't leave much room for error.
effort fans good special team title top undefeated
We want it to be a team effort from top to bottom, and we want to give the fans a good show. I think everyone will tell you that the traditional (tournament) title is more special because that's where the sport started, but this is special because we've been so inconsistent with injuries, and different line-ups and we have been able to go undefeated so far, even with all those things to overcome.
failed toughest unless wrestling
Wrestling is one of those things that you'll always feel like you've failed because it's always so individualized. Unless you get everyone through that you want, you are going to be disappointed. This was the toughest sectional in the state.
past prepare takes talents talked
We're doing nothing different than we have done in the past weeks. We've talked about what it takes to win. We're going to use our God-given talents and prepare mentally, and we're just going to go out and have fun.
kept last moments win
I told him to give me everything he's got left, and just go out and win that last match. There were a lot of moments he could have just quit, but he kept at it. I thought that showed a lot of character.
