Our kids, for the most part, followed the game plan. They fought from the beginning to the end. For 32 minutes, this was the best basketball we've had this season.

I thought we defended well in the third quarter and ran our sets a lot better on offense.

I was real pleased with our defense tonight.

I feel real good about the advances we made during the preseason. We played a great schedule with our young, inexperienced team. I feel we made a lot of headway.
I don't think it was deserved. I was not mean, nasty, nothing like that. It happened. That's the way it goes.

He had a heck of a game. I thought he had his best game as a point guard overall.

This was one of the best teams I've ever had.

We really feel good about what we are doing right now. We played Montrose in the semifinals in our tournament. We hit all those shots to come back and win by three.

Scotty knows our system so well, anyway. He is doing a super job playing within what he has.

We broke the rule twice (about guarding Duran). Then that run started.

When you've got somebody whose game is hot, you don't want to get him as many touches. We wanted to try and (pass) a little more because we were getting into the quick shot mentality.

With probably three minutes left, we started turning the ball over. But the biggest factor was they pounded the offensive glass on us. That was throughout the game. There were times we were up eight and could have been up by 15. Credit Montrose, we had no defensive board cover. It was a bunch of little guys trying to cover it all.

There's a lot of season left. We've got to keep our heads up. We had two players really work us over tonight. We knew coming in that this would be a tough one. We've just got to throw this one away and learn from it.
