She really helps control the game, and when her head is in it, she helps the others stay focused. She was making things happen for us.
dribble floor great needed outside shoot whatever
She was just one of those all-around great players. She could dribble down the floor if you needed her to or shoot from the outside or inside. Whatever you needed her to do, she was there to do it.
boxing handle pressure putting second
We were boxing out and rebounding, but in the second quarter, they really started putting the pressure on us. Mentally, we kind of couldn't handle it.
falling good killer playing rough shots third
We had another rough third quarter. That has been our killer all year. Our shots weren't falling but they were playing good defense, too.
asked sad whatever willing
They were always willing to do whatever we asked them to do. It was sad it had to end on this kind of note.
deep dig far game
We told them we didn't come this far to lose. . . . We told them to dig down deep and play their game like they know how.

They had shooters, and they can drive, and they can get it inside. They were just an all-around good team.
girls offense played ran though
Overall, I thought we played really well. We ran our offense well and got back on defense. I know the girls were pleased, too. Even though it was a loss, we played pretty well.
