Tournaments like this take the pressure off for a little while because we know that no matter what happens, it won't affect our conference standing. We're able to try new things in these matches, and we're able to work on parts of our game that we might not be comfortable using in conference matches.

We took the whole weekend off which was really nice. We really needed those couple of days off to let our bodies recover a little bit.

We did better than we have in the past in the close games. But, it was still very frustrating, because we weren't able to get over that final hurdle.

We were all still lagging a little from this weekend as well as the long car ride to Alma, so it was really good to see that we can still win even when we don't have our 'A' game.

It was slightly disappointing because the injury affected us. We also tried working on some different aspects of our game in the doubles matches, and I think that also affected our performance.

We're definitely expecting Wednesday to be a tough match. They're a very aggressive and intimidating team, but we can't let that bother us if we hope to get a victory.
expand happens matter regarding shots
No matter what happens regarding the outcome, it makes you a better player. You have to try harder, come up with shots you didn't know you had, and you have to expand your game.
