We have got to think about coming back at the end of the year and trying to win that match and get back in the World Group for the following year,
The Australian Open attracts one of the most competitive line-ups in the world and I’m looking forward to putting the heat on some of my old on-court rivals.
Up a set and 2-0 it's definitely a situation where a little match practice would've helped, so I'm disappointed but think I can take some positives from the first set and the start of the second.
I'm the underdog, but know what I'm capable of.
I have nothing to prove to anyone. I only play for myself.
Obviously, I'll do whatever it takes to get back,
I feel like I've been in this sort of situation before, not ranking-wise, but coming back from surgeries where it's been a long way back. This is just another thing where I'm going to have to work harder. I'm working hard. I'm just going to keep working hard and sooner or later it's going to pay off.
It can only get better and things can't happen overnight, the only thing I can do is just keep working hard and I know it's going to happen.
I think with Lopez playing in his first Davis Cup tie, it's a bit tough for him to come out and expect him to play under a lot of pressure,
I was trying. I went out there and gave it everything.
I was excited because I've never shared a room with somebody.
