It is almost must-win for us in this stretch because we're going to need them. We're going to be on the road a lot in January (nine out of 13 games) and play a lot of teams above .500. We'll need this stretch as a foundation to play the teams at the top of the league.
Almost all five goals we had the puck and misplayed. I thought we beat ourselves tonight.
It could have been anyone of us. A lot of us have gone through tough stretches.
I thought we were the better team. We wound up again on the wrong side of the score sheet. It's frustrating.
He's been playing great all year. He certainly deserved to be in the All-Star Game. He should've been there, but he didn't get a chance to go. He's certainly been one of our best players all year. I think he's proven the last few years that he's one of the best defensemen in the league and he certainly deserved to go this year.

I feel like I'm skating and all that, but I feel the timing is not there. I certainly don't have the goals (four in 17 games) that I want.
I think that we probably had our best first period. We've had so many ifs and buts in this tournament and we have not had strong starts, so today we focused on trying to get an early lead.
I think that we probably had our best first period out there today. We've had so many ifs and buts in this tournament...and it was fortunate that we were able to do that.
I want to win the Stanley Cup, ... If we're going to bring in some older guys, they better be good, and if we are going to have some younger guys, we want them to be good, too, and become even better. I think it's a time and it's a franchise and a town where I don't think we can really sit back and rebuild. We have to go for it this year again, just the way we've been trying the last few years, and keep having good runs in the playoffs and hopefully get some more experience.
I was a little worried before the game about how it was going to go, but it went better than I thought,
I think they're on top of the game, they're on the cutting edge of technology in terms of our fitness.
We just have to get away from that - doing the mistakes that we're doing. We've got to simplify our game and get back on track.
Getting the puck out of our own end is a victory right now.
