effort last night putting terms work
We've got to work a little harder, do the things that we did last night in terms of working and putting the effort out there and we'll be fine.
came felt game last night ok symptoms
He had some flu-like symptoms last night. He just came to the game and felt OK to play. It got worse.
continued ended energetic fights-and-fighting last players stay
He (Howard) is great, young and energetic and always fighting. On that last play where a lot of players just stay put after a shot, he continued to play and ended up getting the big play.
fourth great half major played third throw time
He's been great for us. Every time we've inserted him in a game, he's been great for us. Sometimes, he wouldn't play for a whole half and then we'd throw him in in the third and fourth quarters. Every time we've played him, he's made major contributions.
career guy score step
He's been a scorer his whole career and that's what we'll need. We'll need a guy like him that can step in and score some baskets right away.
ball best defense option putting terms
He was our best option in terms of putting the ball in his hands. I thought his defense on Garnett was just excellent.
broke factor foul matter
He was going to play no matter what. If it was broke he was going to play anyway. He'd get it taped up and go out there. It may have been a factor on his foul shots.
ability allen basket bigger deeper drive form looks move player range shoots shots step type
He can move and come off screens. He's a different type player because he has the ability to step back from three-point range and make shots and he has the ability to drive to the basket. He's a bigger Allen (Iverson) with his ability to shoot. He shoots deeper than Allen. His ability to get to the basket is in the same form of Allen because he looks to attack, attack, attack.
ability ball defense impressive kyle player releases shoot talking time
He catches the ball and releases it so quick. I think that?s what?s so impressive about him. I think if you?re not around Kyle that much, and I?ve been talking defense this whole camp, but any time you see a player with his ability to shoot the ball he?s got to be on the floor.
ability corrected eliminate error half happened margin mistakes season start
Now, the margin of error is not very high. Mistakes have to be corrected right away. We have to eliminate everything that happened in the first half and start like this is a new season right now. I think we have the ability to do that.
douglas shoot
No. Douglas could penetrate, but he couldn't shoot like that.
excited rookie wished
Right now, I'm as excited as a rookie going to my first camp. This is something I wished for a while ago, and now it's here.
add best coach couple exception floor guys players playing rather seen strengths
We have players we haven?t actually seen out on the floor, with the exception of a couple guys playing now, ... But I want to see the players out on the floor. We can always say we want to add this, add that, but to actually see the players out on the floor once they get there, in person so I can see their strengths and weaknesses, I think that?s the best thing to do rather than say, ?Let?s go get this, get that.? Every coach can say that at some point.
expected reason win
No one expected us to win this game. That's the reason you play.
