I am very excited and grateful to return to coaching. After coach Lofton presented me the opportunity to return, I had mixed feelings. But after much prayer and visits with my family, the administration and coach Lofton, I felt it was an opportunity I could not pass up.

It happens so quick you don't really remember what happened. One wreck I was in, I remember being in the pace line, then the next thing I knew I was on the ground.

Basically I've been struggling all year, so I just wanted to get the bat on the ball and get a base hit. Coach asked before the game if we remembered the end of the football season. It was a good game for us.

We made some big plays but we didn't finish them. From the 20 (yard line) to the 20, we were pretty good. But penalties and little mistakes add up.

I don't think it is right to use the petition system when you have no intention or likelihood of prevailing. That is not what the system was intended for and to misuse it now is reckless.

It is a wonderful collection for a museum like ours to have. When we started it was all we could do to get one room filled.
