failed guys moving
They executed better. We failed at moving guys over. We didn't do the job.
baseball beginning guys home moving run wait
It's not going to be like, two-run home run and wait for the closer. It's going to be baseball from the beginning all the way to the end - squeezes, hit-and-run, moving guys over.
moving games differences
The only difference between me and the fans is I can't eat or drink during the game and you guys can't make moves. Besides that, we are pretty much the same people.
continue
We're going to continue to look around and see what happens.
build joe pitching team
We're going to build this team around pitching and defense, and Joe has been a big part of that.
boston clubhouse trip
We're not going to use them. Making the trip for no reason, Boston is real uncomfortable, the clubhouse is small.
guys hits hitting nine nobody sudden three time tonight walk
When we were really struggling, you didn't see guys get two hits in a game. Any time someone got one hit, one walk -- nobody could put it together. Tonight when we were hitting the ball, one guy got three hits, one had two RBIs, one had two hits, all of a sudden you don't need nine guys to get a hit -- just two or three to get a hit at the right time.
almost career spend
We're in Chicago. When you spend almost your whole career here, you know what to expect.
amazing appreciate ballpark baseball bring chicago city earned empty fans feeling fun good guys half media missing nice people players stomach turned
We appreciate the way the fans have turned out this year. But you have an empty feeling in your stomach when you come out and see half of the ballpark empty. The players earned the people to be watching. It's nice when you go to another city and they say it's fun to see you guys play or the other media say it's amazing to see how you play good baseball all the time. And then you come to Chicago and you feel like you are missing something. You feel like we've done what we have to do to bring people to the ballpark.
guys lead
Most of these guys have never been in this situation, but I have, and I have to lead them,
carry move pitching problem staff start time trip
Most of the time we'd start a trip in Oakland, the pitching staff in Oakland would give us a lot of problems, and then we'd move to Anaheim and carry the problem here.
good hopefully paper stay year
On paper we look really strong. We have another year to compete. Hopefully we stay healthy. I think we have another good year.
biggest guys hits home moves reasons
One of the biggest reasons we are here is because of Iguchi. He moves guys over. ... He hits home runs. ... He does everything.
