When it came down to it, there were three teams in the running for second place. The percentage of individual wins for Matt and Josh were higher so they took second.

They had a very good showing. I think their comfort level is higher. They know each other a little more now. I saw a lot of good communication from them for the first time out.

They did win a lot more games than in the first outing. They won their first match and really should've won the second.

(Opponents) did lob it over them. They moved automatically. They would switch to take the short path. If it's close to both of them, they call 'mine, mine, mine.' They did that throughout the whole day.

Those are times when mentally, you have to shut the door. You have to decide that this match is mine, and you just shut the door.
believe believer lower percentage serve strong
They just had a little lower percentage of first serves. I'm a strong believer that the first serve is a weapon.
bad collins ground higher meet mill percentage valley
Collins I think had a higher percentage of first serves. Much higher than the Mill Valley meet and the ground strokes, not bad for windy conditions.

He really stepped up. He's a player that goes in and wants to do the job. Today he came up to me and said 'I'm playing tomorrow right?
ball blow hit slice strike wind
You could hit a slice and then the ball would go up and the wind would blow it back at you. This is a day where you really have to strike at the ball.
