One thing you find out when you net a lake this size is there's a lot of variability. One net will be loaded with fish, and another will have hardly any. You try to reduce the variability with a larger sample size.

exciting fall fish hoping label strong yellow
There's still young-of-the-year fish out here, but it's not what you would label a strong year-class, that's for sure. I was hoping for something exciting this fall with the yellow perch catch, but it's not going to materialize.
good marked pieces puzzle whether year
It will be interesting to see whether they come back marked or unmarked. It's good information, but you've got to do it for more than a year or two to put the pieces of the puzzle together.
