I'm a little sore but it's crunch time so I'll definitely be out there.
It is definitely not going to be an easy thing to change that mindset. We're moving forward and not looking back at what happened. We are a unit. We are a group. We need everybody to come together as a unit. It is not going to take one person, but all of us. It is important everybody understands that. We have something that you can buy into, that you can believe in, and when you do that then that's half the battle.
Just being in the lineup, it's no big issue to me, ... It's a matter of getting out there and playing. It's been a while, it definitely feels like a long time, and I'm kind of getting the jitters all over again.
This is a team that really gets up for this series, and it's a great series to play in and watch. You definitely can't take the Cubs lightly at all.
I definitely feel like there's a more level playing field over the last few years and a lot more clubs have high hopes now.
I think it is the cutting (with his weakened ankle),
He's a faithful guy, ... He's worked really hard this year to show this team that he's worthy, and now to get the opportunity to do this for the first time ... I'm just so very excited for him.
I felt good today, then I hit in the cages and got extremely dizzy. So I'm not ready.
I feel pretty good, ... I expected it to be worse.
He's playing like an everyday player. He's stepping up big. We all know he could have played every day with another ballclub.
Hal and I really just sat back and started thinking about things, and the way that I need to go about seeing pitches and getting in the right frame of mind, ... I've just been working hard every day to get where I needed to be.
One thing I've learned over the course is that, you know, go out there, do what you can do and hopefully you can open some eyes and somebody would want you to stay for a while,
I think you truly don't know how it is until you actually get in the game, ... Then you can alter from that. Going in, getting work every day, taking flyballs, running, hitting, whatever, that's not a game situation. ... When it's game time, you've got to go out there and do what you need to do.
Lima has always been Lima. He tries to get you caught up in his world, ... He did tonight.
