Salem was an area where there was a lot of Indian unrest. There was a lot of tension in the area. Most of the recent scholarship on Salem indicates that climate of fear had a lot to do with the outbreak there.

I don't understand the attack on my brother. I thought it was a cheap shot and disappointing and not true . . . This accident was probably the most hurtful thing that ever happened to anybody and everybody that had family on those planes. They suffered a lot.
