I think the score speaks for itself. But I have to say it: (losing) is worrisome. Not all, but some players trying to earn a spot act as if they don't want to be a part of the team, as if getting on the team was easy.

Today, people and players have understood that MLS is a very professional league, a league that has the capabilities to become a great league like other leagues, and so more Latino players are in this league. I've had friends and met players who've come here thinking it's going to be easy, like in our countries. ... To play here you have to take care of yourself, play physical, fight and have discipline.

I came here in 1997 just like anyone else, no matter if the person is a soccer player or whatever the profession; coming to the United States with the same idea and mission of improving my economic situation so that my family could be better off. Obviously I found and was given an opportunity by MLS. It's been quite an experience.
