We have had a somewhat slow start with a lot of illness, but we have a solid turnout of over 50 kids. We have some experienced and talented athletes, but it is always a challenge to get the athletes in all the right events.

Basically, all the forces that can enlarge the retired elderly population are in overdrive. The forces that would expand the younger (and working) population paying for Social Security and Medicare taxes are in reverse. The result is a kind of perfect demographic storm,

Although the quarter (for CNH) was a disappointment, the outlook shows some promise.

Demand remains strong in aerospace, construction, power generation. All these things are going for the company. It's just a matter of whether or not they can control their rising raw-material costs.
