I was very disappointed early in the game by the defense. We got caught off guard a little bit. We were expecting a mix of run and pass. After we answered their touchdown we settled down.

I thought Alan Tallman had a hell of a game. He was playing very, very well defensively for us. It's disappointing because he was playing as well as I've seen him play here.

Both have good speed and they've got athleticism and they've been able to get bigger and stronger. They're not as physical as George (Peterson), but they're as athletic or a little more so. But they're not as powerful. That's an issue.

Every place Chip has been, he's gotten a little bit from. The whole key is going out and finding out what people do well, how they do it, and how they coach it. And then fitting it into what our plans are.

It was the same conditions for everybody out there today. They got by our linemen, coverage was tight and their safeties (Shaw and James Miller) really played downhill.

They all did what they're supposed to do. Everybody played real good at times but everybody has things they can improve on.

Schwab had been practicing real well and we gave him an opportunity. He played pretty well.
