harder played team
I thought they played harder than any team that has come into this building.
focused played
We probably played the way our preseason prognostications were. We're not that bad. They were really focused on defense. They didn't let us do anything.
gets injured job played playing until wants
Even if he got injured on the first day on the job here and never played for us, we'll keep him on scholarship until he gets a degree. He's not going anywhere. He'll be here and playing for us as long as he wants to.
activity gone good hard intensity retaining running time
What you do see is activity and intensity with what he's doing. But he hasn't gone to the same place twice, and that's not good when you're running an offense. He's having a hard time retaining everything.
certainly chance gives
It gives us two practices, and we'll certainly have a chance to try to make some revisions. I don't really know which way we'll go.
came official
I don't know (what happened). I just told the official what I thought and I came out.
approach
We have to approach it like he won't be back.
casual great job lost pressure
We lost our poise. They did a better job in all areas. They put great pressure on us, we started making casual passes, one-handed passes.
games pick plays
He continually makes big plays at the end of games for us. The pick at the end of the game was something we really needed.
badly beaten came guys last proud
I was really proud of how the guys came back. We were beaten about as badly as you can be last Wednesday.
deny inability key stretch
I thought that was a key stretch in the game, our inability to deny him the ball.
duplicate energy feeling great hopefully leave maybe next night performance poise respond result toughness win
I think what's important is how we respond to that performance the other night (against UCLA) Â- what kind of energy we come play with, what kind of toughness we come play with, what kind of poise we play with. Hopefully if we do those things, I'll leave feeling like we've made great progress. Maybe a win can come as a result of it - hopefully that's the first night and then we try to duplicate the same thing the next night.
performance respond
I think what's important is how we respond to that performance the other night.
lead losing offense took wondered
We don't have a lot of depth. After losing an 11-point lead I took a look at what we had and wondered where our offense was going to come from and rolled the dice.
