We knew (senior guard Reggie Pero) was their best ball handler so we wanted to keep it out of his hands. The idea is to make the other kids do things they aren't used to doing.

He was a great kid with a wonderful personality. He was supposed to come here, and I even went and saw him play against Coastal Middle School (Wednesday) night. This is just a tragedy.

They push each other's buttons, but they're very supportive of each other and that's been good for both of them.
