If new to the area, ask a lot of questions of the builder such as how much work is subbed out and when payments are due on your contract. Go to their office and see their selections and meet who will be working with you on your pool construction. Simple pools can be done in about eight weeks. Pools with pavers or custom rock features or retaining walls will take longer.
