We want to qualify as many guys for state as we can. If we can do that, I'm confident that we can hold our taper for another week.
It has proven to be the perfect marriage. It's proven that it has worked with the two high schools. You have Sauk who does not have the numbers without Heights and Wisconsin Heights who does not have a pool but has guys who want to keep swimming.
We know where guys will fit into the lineup. We will do what is best for the team. I don't think there will be any big surprises.
Steve breaking the record gives the team some momentum heading into the final meet of the season. We have really pushed these guys hard and they have come back and responded.
It's a great opportunity and a challenge for our guys to be in the water swimming against some of the best guys in the state. Since the competition is so strong it brings out the best in our guys.
