I felt it was vital to stress the importance of national security in this debate and the need for a clear path to our exit from the European Union. I hope I have achieved both these objectives.
Britain needs an education system that is appropriate to both society and the individual - and it is wrong to pretend that watering down academic standards in pursuit of universal achievement will do that,
Instead we need schools and colleges that are sensitive to the needs of young people and not the priorities of politicians and educationalists.
