We started the game over-confident, and although we fell behind, I always knew they would pull through.

Scott asked me after the game if he should have shot more or passed more. I said shoot more. But Aurora Christian did a good job of jumping out on him. They definitely had an idea that he was a good shooter.

He helped me a lot, ... I would be in the game a lot with him and there where times when I wouldn't know who I had, what I was supposed to do and he helped me out.

I think the game has an enormous spectator appeal that dwarfs all American sports because it is so international.

Our running game was big. The last couple weeks were rocky, but we were focused and we played four quarters.

That was a good game for us. Hennessy and Convery really stepped up for us. We had it under two with under a minute to play, and we fouled, but they hit their free throws. We played pretty hard and made some nice adjustments, we just couldn't finish.

We need to improve on our passing game and improve some on our run game. You don't want to take all of what Michael did, which was a lot, and put it all on one person. We're going to try to evenly spread that throughout the offense.

We have to win the game to have any chance. They (August Town) have taken the lead and so destiny is not in our hands any more.

We were three players down, and it was our third game in three days. We didn't have the depth to compete with them. Of our eight eligible players, four were freshmen and one was a sophomore. It was a difficult game - but we should have competed better. We just couldn't match their size or quickness, and that was the game.

What we are concentrating at is one game at a time. We didn't start very well but we have picked up and are concentrating on each game. If we do what we are capable of doing then we have a chance.

Every team that we play now will be a monster game. It will be a very competitive game between the two teams that are at the top. We are going to be playing the football we have been playing all season.

The running game worked out a lot better than we expected it to. We had a lot of holes out there and we were able to run the ball. Mike, Derrick, myself, ran the ball some as well, so it worked out well.

Each of these individuals have been significant contributors to the game we see today and most importantly the long range growth of the game. We look forward to greeting each of these individuals at the time of their proud induction in the TEXANS CREDIT UNION WALK OF FAME at Pizza Hut Park.

This is our biggest game of the year right now. For the seniors, this is the biggest game of their career. A lot of the seniors haven't played in a game like this.

The game went into extra innings and was one of the best (high school) games I've seen.
